So the surge ring ended up being pretty complicated. It was hard to attach the Surge ring to the main body. I tried to make supports, but they were too flimsy so they didn't work. Then I decided to make put a piece of cardstock on the body, and then fit the surge ring on that. I hope it works. 

In the beginning, I was going to make plates on the front and back. But it was hard to do that, so my parents ended up buying some foam caps to put on each side. But then the body of the spaceship was too big for the caps, so I ended up cutting off a chunk of the body. But then it was too small, so then I put the cap in and put tape on to cover-up the opening 

Fore and Aft first

cut 5 times on the long side of the poster board and make 2 for the Fore and Aft sections

Create the Surge ring

cut 1 board in half longways

Cuts about 2 inches apart

Create 3 spokes and attach the body to the surge ring

Then do body end, fin, special effects.

So when I present I will need to bring each of the 3 sections of the ship down one at a time. And then I will assemble it in where ever fessy con is taking place

So that art was basicaly what I plan to create. 

So the avg dimensions of my project will be about 5x2 ft (maybe bigger) 

The shape of my project will be 2 tubes and a large ring in the middle 

The materials I need are:

-12 Sheets of Posterboard (I have 6)

-1 cans of black spray paint

-1 bottle of black paint

-1 can of white spray paint

So I made a plan to create a big model of a Heaven 3 instead because I think it would be cool and it wouldn't be that hard. I made a document that I can follow to maximize the amount of work I get done through each of my periods.

So I think my project was a bit too complicated for me to do so. So, in the beginning, I wanted to make a mobile with 3 identical spaceships. I wanted to do spaceships because the spaceships were the only ones that I could thoroughly paint a picture in my mind of. 

My 3d printing project kinda failed because there are so many people but not enough printers that are working. Also, I have never 3d printed before on flash forge, only tinker cad. But I couldn't do it on tinkercad because my file was too large for tinkercad.  

I finished the 3d print models today I did not start the printing process yet
