As you can see, I added sand. I also painted the doors. I improved the quality also by gluing the colored paper and sandy cardboard onto the painted book. Overall I think it looks great and I am ready to present.
Today I painted my hoses. Ir an into a time crisis and had to ditch the people idea, but tomorrow I just need to add sand in middle makers. I also added gates and made the book look old.
Today I made houses and painted them. Mrs. Cook helped me with the old looking paper, but I still need to cut it out and glue. I will wrap it up on day 6.
I have been trying to make a diorama of the gauntlet dimension in my book. I will make it look like a book is opening up to another dimension to give it a magical feel. I am using a Guinness Book of World Records and painting it to look like an old mysterious book.
One of my conceptual precedents is the picture on the right. I took great inspiration, for I took ideas from it that I will build.
Today I found an old book from the library. I plan to use it as the base for my project. Ms. Saint Germain let me use an old World Records book. I tested it out with the cardboard and it works just fine.
Today I planned where I was going to put the pieces. I need to print the people 3d because the site I sent to the lab was blocked. That's ok though. Tomorrow I will start to construct.
On day one of the Fessy Con project, I made a very good proposal. I proposed to have the other world be in the book so it looks like it is opening to a magical world. I need to 3d print some mini figures. Overall day one was a success.
