Problem

Boating in general is always fun and is a great way to enjoy the outdoors. Unfortunately, if you have to get around in a wheelchair there is no easy way for you to get on the boat.

Solution

That would be a problem until now, with the dock wheelchair lift. This innovative piece of technology allows for an easy and safe way to be lowered from the dock into a boat.

After presenting our Mid-Review we got a lot of feedback, including changing the placement of our elevator system. Before, we had the platform come out from the boat and raise up to the dock, which was a good idea. But Mr. D and Mr. Lew pointed out that we could put the system on the dock and lower the person down to the boat, so that you wouldn't have to order a custom boat for this to work. We both thought that this was a good idea and ended up changing our project to incorporate it.
