For this Fessy Con project, I wanted to make the home of Corinne and Pierre in the book, The Jumbies.

Today I finished my project by coloring my 3d prints, and I put a map key.

My Thesis is to make a detailed Bow and Arrow and a container representing "The Reaping"

Precedents

First Prototype: For the prototype, I started with a strip of cardboard, then I put a hole in it for the aim, and hot-glued a string from top to bottom. Finally, for the arrow, I put in a long popsicle stick.

2nd Prototype: For my second prototype, I went on ChatGPT for help, and it said I should go outside and add a stick, so I did, then since it wasn't long on the top, I put PVC there, then string for aim.

Final Prototype? For my final, I added tinfoil to make it look like metal, I added dad because from the book it mentions she uses her dad's bow, then I added LEDs so at night it's easier to see when you are hunting.

Idea:

My idea was to make a compass from my book that the main character had and make it look the same at it was described in the book

Day 1

Today I made a cuttle file of my outline for my compass.

Day 2

Today I laser cut my file and hot glued it together. Then I add a piece to cover the secret plug storage

Today I finished the final touches for the compass and made a sketch for my diorama. I also made a base for my scene

Today I went to the art room and Ms. Walrod scanned the underground compound picture from my book. While she was doing that, I was helping Yash with his cards

Day 6

Today I made the walls for my underground layer and I made the basic foundation. I also took a dinosaur and put it on top of my project

Today I made some table for the plants and Ms. Warlod gave me some moss to use as plants

Today I add led light to the top of the walls to make it look like sun lights

Today I picked up some stones from outside and made the mine shaft for my project and I stick the rocks and walls on to my project
