The Heart of Irpa
Based off of Lightfall by Tim Probert. By Braeden McEuen
I wanted to create a game to show people my book and get them to read it.
Day 1: We made ideas. We also made our sketch.
Day 2: I made the basic code. You can shoot projectiles.
Day 3:
Day 4
Day 5
Day 6
Day 7
Day 8: I made the rules for the game. It also explains some of the backstory.
This was my feedback. I was not able to add a screen recording, because it couldn't load. I did the other ones.
Final Code:
to stop the easy/hard mode bug, I decided to use swords instead of boomerangs. This will hopefully work.
I am fixing a bug consisting of the life of enemies in easy mode. As of now, I need to figure out which piece of code makes them abide by the code of hard mode. This is the same recording as last time because today's code couldn't load.
I had some people test my game today. I have confirmed that it is harder for someone who hasn't played before versus the one who made it.
Feedback:
Lot's of effort/time coding On laptop?
add screen recording
have people play
add rules to slides
i like seb
I lost here
I had some people test my game since I thought it was too easy. I also fixed the winning bug by adding a start game screen, as expected.
I started a start button using a function. This could fix that annoying bug that's stopping me from winning.

I am making a game that mimics a part of the book where the main character must fight evil bird men called Tikarri. The audience will play it.

I added the projectile animation and the ability to die. I added an extra life to each bad guy.
