New Thesis Statement

My idea is to replicate and build a model of The Nest, (the home where the animals and Roz stay in for most of the winter) complete with surrounding trees and LED lights to replicate the glow of a fire. It brings to life the novel’s themes of survival, adaptation, and connection by combining technology and storytelling to recreate the warmth and protection of the nest during the harsh winter months.

After painting the base white to resemble snow, I added the nest and the trees that had arrived in the mail.

To recreate the glow of the fire inside the nest, I soldered red LED lights and glued them to the inside of the nest!
