Since we have compiled a list of materials, our next step will be to assemble and test. Like Mr. Lewellyn said, this project will require heavy testing and likely many changes. These changes may occur in the placement/number of spikes, materials of the soles, or the ability to withstand heavy running. 

One of Mr. Johnson's questions regarded sprinting in other activities apart from track & field. The example he used was police officers chasing suspects, which wouldn't be ideal with our spikes because they do not provide spikes in a shape to allow this quick change of direction. Perhaps, we will add more spikes on the lower and outer sides of the sole to add quick maneuverability.
