Boeing also believes that teachers and school leaders are key drivers of student achievement. After all, how students learn matters as much as what they learn. They work to provide educators with the tools and leadership skills they need to inspire their students to use creativity, collaboration, persistence and problem-solving to change the world.

Boeing offers over 20 hands-on, open-ended design challenges that encourage curiosity, creativity, and persistence among K-12 students.

They have also partnered with a Boston radio station and PBS to create a digital collection of videos and interactive activities that bring to life science of flight, aviation history, and profiles of aerospace careers.  

AFLAC (Supplemental Medical Insurance Company)

They are so helpful for many patients because they do not have to worry about immediately paying for healthcare; and receive an extra sum of cash to start off with. This benefit's the patients because they don't have to be concerned about their health, not their bills.

General Electric is a company based out of Boston that was founded by Thomas Edison in 1892. The company focuses on electrical products and services and ranges from airplane engines to industrial products. They have recently made a new locomotive that will reduce emissions by 70%. Their plans for the future include a digital wind farm which will boost wind farms energy production by 20%. They are responsible for 1/3 of the world's electricity capacity and have a commitment to clean energy in the upcoming years.

Tom's Shoes

Toms is a shoe brand that you probably have never heard of. I used to have these shoes. I would get them for my birthday. Their slogan is one for one. For every pair of shoes, you buy they will donate a pair to kids who don't have shoes. Most shoe brands will take 100 percent of the money you pay to pay themselves/workers. This company does not do that. This was a very creative idea and they are helping out with people that don't have much get more necessary things that are necessary for living. While they give shoes to people in need they also try to help provide sight for people who are blind or partially blind, water, safe birth and bullying prevention services. They currently work with 70+ countries.

Allbirds

Allbirds is a company that uses natural materials such as wool, fallen trees, and sugar. because they use friendly things to make their shoes, All birds is a great precedent for this project.  

ExxonMobil

ExxonMobil is making bio fuels out of algae that could take over nature gasses in the future. On there website they talk about there goals to increase productivity and growth rate of algae over the next 10 years. Algae being a low emission fuel could be the future to Bio fuels and energy entirely.

This is an energy company which has attempted to create a source of energy which does not negatively affect the atmosphere. The two sources of energy which Renewable Energy Group (REG) creates, is biodiesel and renewable energy. These are made from animal fats and used oils, which lowers the carbon emissions and therefore helps the environment.

ADIDAS

Adidas made a shoe made of algea and not plastic to prevent polution from shoes worldwide, this allows many more options for plastic substitute in the future.

The Blue Feet Foundation is an NGO that makes socks and sells them, giving the profits to save the endangered blue footed booby in the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador.

Ford

Automotive companies are usually heavy polluters, however, Ford is trying to shed this stereotype. They are doing this through their ten-part environmental policy. They use sustainable fabrics in their vehicles and 80% of the Focus and Escape are recyclable. They also focus on fuel efficiency, offering a clean diesel heavy pickup truck. Also, they recycle the paint fumes at their factory in Michigan and use them as fuel. Ford's factories use Geothermal cooling systems, allowing the machines to be able to run on either ethanol or gas. Ford also owns the worlds largest green roof and is the only company to ever win the EPA Energy Star Award twice in a row.
