Reflect on at least three takeaways that you learned from creating your project.

1. I learned how to use a laser cutter

2. How to use spray paint

3. I was able to manage my time

Explain what was difficult for you during this process and why.

one of the difficult parts of the project is most likely getting it done in time because when we had the idea of making a guitar, we didn't know what we were going to make it with or if we were going to buy it. Eventually we ended up laser cutting the guitar and adding the computer parts to it.

Talk about feedback that you received and how you were able to incorporate that into your process.

The feedback that we received was very critical to what we were going do for our project. We had received feedback on maybe adding string to make it playable. Eventually, one of the teachers told us that we had to start it over because our project would give us a lower grade. We ended up with a very good project thanks to the feedback that we got from our teachers.

Historical context

Andy Chung

We chose to make a guitar as our project because when he was 13 years old. Miguel grew up in Venezuela. There were two world famous guitar players from his town, this is what influenced him to start playing Guitar. He unfortunately had to give up on his dream of becoming a musician but still has his passion for guitar. He recently performed for an 101 year old lady.

Our sensory experience is sight, touch, and hearing because you would be able to play the guitar as well as touching and seeing the things that he went through. We decided that we would also spray paint a Venezuelan flag because that is where he was from.

Our project is a small guitar designed for Miguel. We chose this as our project because when he was 13 years old. He had a passion for playing the guitar. He went around playing music for people and continues to have a passion for playing guitar. Our sensory experience is sight and hearing because you would be able to play the guitar as well as seeing the things that he went through.

Miguel grew up in Venezuela. There were two world class guitar players from his town, this is what caused his to start playing Guitar. He eventually gained a passion for playing guitar and began at age 13. He recently performed for an 101 year old lady.

We decided that we would also spray paint a Venezuelan flag because that is where he was from. We also decided that we would make the strings so that they could unroll a piece of paper. When you unroll each string, you would get to learn about his life.

Our project is a guitar designed to bring back Miguel's memories of when he played the guitar as a young kid. As a young kid, Miguel grew up with two world-class Guitar players in his town. When he turned 13 years old, he began to grow a passion for Guitars. He played music for people that he knew and he met. He even played for a 101-year-old lady that he met. He grew a big passion for Guitar which is why we decided to make this.

Our project is focusing on the time that he spent doing computer science. Our guitar is made with jumper cables and a breadboard to symbolize that time that Miguel spent doing computer science. The guitar also has a strap that has been made to look like a Venezuelan flag, that way he will get the feeling of being back home and studying computer science.
