I am Benjamin Fernandez and for fessy con, read Dagon Run by Patrick Mathews. My project will be a themed monopoly with all the places my book has been. It is just like all the star wars themed monopoly games. As pieces there will be different charters from the book. I will make paper money for it. It will be themed on the book.

As pieces, there will be different charters from the book which will be 3d printed. The Board will be made out of cardboard so I will need the cardboard cutter and will paint. I will need paper for the money and the cards. I don't think I will need to be in the CCI too much just for the cardboard cutting and 3d printing otherwise I think I can just do it in the class.

I should get approved by the Fessy Con Selection Committee because my project is fun to play and most people already know how to play monopoly so most people know how to play it. Also, it will show pictures and teach people about the book and the settings. I think you guys want an exciting game I think Fessy Con Selection Committee should let me participate in this year's fessy Con.

Hi my name is Malick. My series is Berserk . For my project I plan to make Dragon Slayer  from Berserk, this is the sword that Guts uses to slay and slash apostles and enemies. To make Dragon Slayer I’m going to use cardboard,bandage(for the wrappings on the hilt), and some type of coloring to make the blade shiny and metallic. The tools I will need are: utility knife, coloring, cutting mat, hot glue, and some type of bandage. I think that this should take around 5-6 classes if I’m very diligent, which I plan to be. 

My proposal should be approved because I know that I may not always try my hardest, but when it is something I enjoy a lot like this book I can really focus and get things done. Mangas and anime are things I’ve always wanted to bring into real life, and now I’m pleased to say I can do it for school! My project is special because this sword in the manga/anime is as tall as the wielder. This means it will probably be around ¾ of my size.

Fessy Con Proposal

Fessy Con Exclusive Minifigure Proposal

Hello Fessy Con, my name is Josiah Calmas and I am presenting to you my project based on the book Hero by Mike Lupica. My project is going to be a Fessy Con exclusive minifigure of Zach Harriman, the main character in Hero. The minifigure will be custom designed by me with exclusive packaging for Fessy Con 2023. These exclusive minifigure will be given at random to be people who can answer a random trivia question about the book. I plan to make four of these exclusive minifigure.

My steps to accomplish this project will be,first I will select a Lego man body head and hair. Next I will add specific details and references to the book on his clothing to make him exactly like his character in the book,I will do this using paint. After that I will custom print a Fessy Con logo with the vinyl cutter and put it on his back.For the packaging.I will make a mold of a Lego minifigure and glue it to some card stock that has a blown up image of minifigure with the book name. You will be able to easily remove the minifigure from the packaging because the mold will be able to flex and allow you to remove the figure.

Why should your project proposal be approved: (Why should the Fessy Con Selection Committee select you? What makes your project special?) 

The 2023 Fessy Con needs a collectible figure because with all the things on showcase the people at the Fessy Con need something that they can win. When word gets out to the world about the Fessy Con collectible figure it will bring collectors from around the world to the Fessy Con. Finally my figure will be quality and durable with awesome designs that everyone will notice.
