Day 2

Today I worked on gluing the wax paper onto one of the sides of the box. Before that I collected my laser cut of the box I made last week.

This is the cut file I created for my project yesterday. Today I am going to laser cut it onto wood.

Today I worked a lot on my project. To begin class I used a mallet and snapped the box together except for 1 side. After that I glued orange tinted plastic to the side of the box with the writing. Lastly, I soldered my led and snapped in the last side of my box.

Day 4

Today I worked on clarifying my project. I decided to make a note card explaining the ring of power and why it is important.

Yesterday during class I laser cut an emblem of Middle Earth. I decided to do this so my project is more connected to my book. Today during a study hall I completed my summary of my book.

Day 5

Today during English class I thought about what other laser cuts I could do for my project. I am not sure what to do but I will think about it next class.

Today I started making the nose and face of the dragon.

Today, I cut and glued the neck for the dragon

Today, I tryed making the body of the dragon. I am going to try to make a better body next class though.

Today, I finished the body of my dragon. I also cut out the legs of the dragon and cut out one wing

On day 5 I started my Woodan base because the printers were all full.

I finished my sketch and I am going to make a museum thing with 3 dioramas and a few important items

I worked on my first piece and finished the painting and the trees I am going to do the dragon and the human print next

In day five I made a tinkercad file to 3d print but it didn't work out very well because the dragon was too complicated

Day 6

Because the 3d print won't work after a long time of waiting and finishing up other things, I decided to use the laser cutter to cut out the dragon and the main character. I also painted the top of the diorama. I did the second box for my 2nd diorama. It is going to need some clay. So I either ask Ms Walrod for it or I ask my mom to buy me some. I also might just only have 2 dioramas. If I have extra time, I will make some important objects. I also might need a base for my entire piece which will just be 2 pieces of the wood from the laser cutter.

On day seven I found the base for my project. It was just a big piece of cardboard. I also laser cutter my second piece out so that I could start using my model magic. The cut was pretty big and it didn't finish when the class ended. Thus, I do not have a picture of it. drew this picture to show how I am doing.

In day Eight I tried to make an LED to help my magical thingy. It didn't work because it was Arduino or something. So I learned to Sauter for the tiny non-Arduino build. After it was done, It was too short for my project.
