Day 2

Today I got a book to use to put the hand into and it is going to have artifacts from the book on the other page. Mrs. St. Germain also got me a book stand that I will use to hold the book. I also started the plaster hand that I am going to use.

Day 3

Today I stuck my hand into this and made a mold. The next step is to pour the plaster into it to make it complete.

Day 4

Today I decided that I would make book safe sort of thing. Then Mr. Lew and I brainstormed on how we would do this.

Day 5

Today me and Mr Lew cut out the pages from the book. Then we put tape around the book to make it stronger.

Day 6

Today I glued down the hand and covered the LEDs in tissue paper. Then I realized that I made a mistake that I glued down the hand too early before we put the words on but I might just not put anything on it. Then I had to take everything off the book so I could paper mache the hand. Then I decided to paint the hand instead of paper mache it and the same for the words.

Day 7

Today I finished painting my hand in the art room. Then I glued it to the book and covered it in tissue paper so I am done with my Fessy Con project now.

Today was the second day of the project and to be honest we didn't get much done because all the 3d printers and the lasercutter had people waiting. Also Mr lew was talking to James so I couldn't really ask him for any help.

We are no longer making the pen but we are still making the sword and we are making Thalia's tree. Today we made some progress on the tree but the 3d printers are all still full.

Today I worked on the tree while Myles worked on the Mid rewiew I drilled more wholes on the tree and glued a few of the sticks to the tree while Myles added a few slides.

Today I downloaded all the files onto the computer and got ready to print. Myles worked on the Mid review and we hope the 3d print will be ready tommorow

Day 6

Today Me and Myles made a ton of progress done. We painted the tree. We glued all the sticks on even though not all are on in this photo, we made a holder for the tree, a plaque for the tree and the sword was finished

DAY 7

Today Mr lew kicked the whole middle school out of the CCI and we didn't know what to do. We thought about making some grass but then we realized that would look weird hopefully Wednesday we can get more done

DAY 8

Today me and Myles fully finished the sword. Myles painted the sword and I worked on adding the moss to the tree. I also added some silver paint to show the alive vs dead side

DAY 9

Today we kind of got a lot done because I finished the tree by adding the turf. Initially we weren't going to add it but we changed our minds. Myles worked on the final slideshow. I also took pictures of our project for the slidshow

Day 4

Today I painted my base with two different shades of blue to look like the ocean, that way I can make islands.

Day 5

Today I Started making the 3D land forms for my diorama. I learned that you are so post to use tin foil or paper to make the base shape, then cover the shape in plasticine.

Day 6

Today I made two more islands and I improved the base for my project. The islands are called Nilo, and Arctica.

Day 7

Today I made my final islands, they are called Eura and Zhong.

I also finished my base. Finally I labeled the islands.

Today we made the chest, we also added hinges. The box is pretty big - 1 and a half feet long and ten inches tall.

Today we made the place were all the balls are going to sit. we also made it the wrong size but we made it work and I had the idea to make stilts with PVC pipe and the idea worked.

Today for fessy con I made most of my mid review. My partner was not here so I worked all by myself

For my project, I am planning to create a mini 3D diorama of the prison from, "The Last Musketeers" This will relate to the book, "The Last Musketeers" because it will show what the story is based off of.

Precedent 1

This first precedent inspires the idea of the whole structure and project to be inside a small clear box made out of Acrylic. This adds the display-type idea.

Precedent 2

This second Precedent inspired the idea of the little details, which in this diaroma are the little paintings. The little detail that the paintings inspired would be the mini tree's in my 3D Diorama

Precedent 3

This third precedent inspired the idea of the big picture, which in this sculpture is the tree, and in mine, is the prison. That one big detail makes the sculpture stand out by having a big center piece.

Today I got my sketch of my 3D Diorama of the Prison from The Last Musketeers. I also got fabric for the land and water. I also got white paper for the clouds.

Day 1

Today I got my ground part of my project. I am using cardboard with fabric on top. The next step will be to add the Acrylic, but if that doesn't come in on Monday, adding my castle will be the next step.

Today I made the ground for my project. I made it out of fabric, tape, and cardboard.

Today I worked on my mid review post and finding my precedents. I got 2 precedents that are similar to what I am making.

Today I cut out the Acrylic. I am using the Acrylic to add the display-type look. The pieces where 2, 5 1/4 inch pieces, and 2, 5 inch peices

Day 6

Today, I worked on my mid review paragraph. The goal of it was to explain your progress, your future plans, and suggestions that where given to you.

Day 7

Today, I got my mini trees and finished up the environment around the prison. I did this to add more detail to the Diorama.

Day 8

Today, I made my tag/ name tag on my project, and finished my castle. Now that I did those two. All I have to do is add the little details which include, paint and wood stain.

Day 8

Today, I added the small details which include the wood stain and paint. Now that I have done that, I am officaly done with my Fessy Con project.
