something that went well was me and kyle's team work. Another thing was our creativity. Things that could have gone better was recognizing how much time we had and making our project feasible.

Some things that went well in our project were our time management and the final outcome. We were the only group that was able to execute our project perfectly the first time. We completed our project on time and did not have to delete any of the functions we had planned in advance. We also won the competition, with only two points deducted for aesthetics and a margin of more than five points over second place.
One area we could improve next time is decorating our track more extensively. As noted previously, we received two points deducted for aesthetics, so next time we could allocate some of our time to add coloring or figurines to the design.
Two things that went well in me and Brady's project were that we collaborated effectively and listened to each other's ideas. Brady and I were able to pretty equally split our work, which means we can work on two things at the same time and have double the efficiency. We also had open minds, sharing ideas like my idea of the using shark jaw and Brady's idea of adding the extension so the track met the requirements.
Although we listened to each other's ideas, I feel like I could have improved avoiding oversharing and giving my partner some space. This allows for there to be different perspectives and for us to see each other's mistakes and create a better project. Another thing we could have improved on was being more aware of time, and choosing our ideas for the project to be more practical than ambitious.
Two things that went well in our project were that we listened to each other's ideas and tried our best to integrate both of our ideas to make it work, and try to make it aesthetically pleasing. We initially wanted to make a giant track out of many halves of PVC pipes, but cutting the pipe took a long time, and we had to improvise a bit and do some math to make the 4 halves fit the 3 foot requirement.
Something we could have done better is allowed ourselves a bit more time to think about whether the project is too ambitious for the time restraints and whether the pulley system we designed would actually work or the knot in the ribbon would affect it from moving.
Two things I think me and Matthew did well were 1. We both had an open mind and listened to each others ideas. 2. I also think we did a good job of distributing the work evenly between us and dividing and conquering.
One thing I want to do better going forward is talk a little more and not just listen. I feel like I keep an open mind and share some ideas but it is also important to actually add stuff and not just listen and agree even when I may not the whole time.
Jake and I both found ideas to use for the marble track and implemented them well. We worked throughout the given time. We were also able to change ideas or improve upon ideas when they did not go as planned.
Although we did communicate during our working time, we were very separated and had difficulty putting the things we hd worked on together. Another thing we could improve upon is seeing what is possible to create and implement with the resources and time given.
Two things I believe Theo and I did well were working efficiently separately and quickly forming an agreed-upon idea. We were able to come up with a sketch that worked, and we both liked almost instantly, which led to us being able to work faster. We then decided to work separately since with the small amount of allowed time we had a lot to get done, this worked really well and we were able to come together in the end and combine are work to create our track.
Two things I believe did not go well were our time management and our moving part design. By the end we were rushing to put things together, and while we had a working product in the end it was quite messy and thrown together. We had to throw together a moving part because our original plan was unattainable in the time allowed. Our moving part was simple and could barely be considered a moving part.
I think two things that our group did well were coming up with an idea and keeping the project simple. We came up with our idea relatively quickly, allowing us to maximize our work time. In addition, by keeping the project simple, we needed less time to complete the project.
However, I think two things that our group could have improved were teamwork and creativity. When we were working, we were working together on the same thing, where we could have done separate things and worked more effectively. Since we weren't working effectively enough, we weren't able to finish our project. Our team also lacked creativity. Our project was simple: connecting tracks using tape. Especially our moving piece needed improvement, as it was a small piece of cardboard taped onto the track.
I think Seamus and I both used time well and rarely had time not spent working. We also had good ideas and did a solid job of pivoting a few times when the first two ideas did not work. An area we struggled with was our communication. We were doing our own separate thing the entire class, and had we talked while we were working, we could have better incorporated both parts of our project together. Going forward, being 100 percent clear with our idea so we can both work efficiently, as well as having better communication.
I think things that went well in our project were our ability to split up the work efficiently and work together at the same time. From the start, we decided on sketches and plannign almost immediately. Throughout the process of building the marble track, Rowan and I decided to work on the separate parts of our track. I worked on the base and "structural support" of the marble track, while Rowan was in charge of the ramps. While we were building separately, we still came together to discuss the dimensions and placements of all the components. At the end, we collaborated once again to put the final product together. It was very anxiety-inducing, as time was running out. We wanted to start out with a more complex approach to holding the ramps in place with toothpicks, but due to time restraints we switched to tape.
I think we could have done a much better job with more time. Although I understand that this project was just to see what we could come up with in a short amount of time, I feel like we would have significantly changed and improved our product with more time (more sketches, more planning, therefore better product). We also could have improved our marble track aesthetically. Our track was a wobbly mess of tape, cardboard, and glue. I think we could have laser cut pieces of cardboard, or even wood (if it was allowed), to make our product look cleaner. We could have also thought of a more practical or "real" moving part, instead of a hatch that moved whenever the ball passed through it. We had originally thought of doing a wheel style moving part, where the ball would push a circle of cardboard until it fell down the whole, and also including the whirlpool thing that most marble tracks have. However, we didn't have enough time or the right materials to make them, so we ruled them out.
